Common questions
What happens after 12 months?
Keep carries on working exactly as it does today — you just stop receiving new features. Everything you already have continues to work indefinitely. When we release a major new version (roughly every 18–24 months), you can upgrade for £29, or simply stay on your current version. There's no pressure either way.
Will there be AI features?
Yes — we're building AI-powered insights as an optional add-on. Things like natural language questions about your spending, pattern detection, and scenario planning. These will be available as affordable monthly subscriptions after launch. Every core feature works without AI, and always will.
Can I try it before I buy?
We're working out the details, but yes — our intention is to let you try Keep properly before you pay. We want you to feel confident it fits your household before spending anything.
What if it's not right for me?
We offer a 30-day refund, no questions asked. If Keep doesn't feel right for your household, you get your money back. We'd rather you left happy than stayed frustrated.
Why a one-time price instead of a subscription?
We think you should own your tools. A subscription means the software stops working when you stop paying — which feels wrong for something that holds your financial history. With Keep, you pay once and it's yours. We earn future revenue by building updates worth paying for, not by holding your data behind a monthly fee.
What if I switch computers?
You can export and import your database, or use optional encrypted sync to keep devices in step. Your licence covers personal use across your own devices — laptop, desktop, wherever you need it.
