The short version
Keep is a local-first application. Your financial data stays on your device — not on our servers, not in the cloud. We can't see your finances, and neither can anyone else.
This website collects your email address if you join the waitlist. That's it. No tracking cookies, no analytics that follow you around the internet, no selling your information to anyone.

Keep is made by Keepflow Ltd, a company registered in England. If you need to contact us about anything privacy-related, email hello@keepflow.app.
What this website collects
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. We store it with Buttondown, our email service. We use it to let you know when Keep is ready and to send occasional updates about the product. That's all we use it for.
We don't use tracking cookies. We don't run Google Analytics or Facebook pixels. We don't build advertising profiles. If we add analytics in the future, we'll use a privacy-respecting service like Plausible that doesn't track individual visitors.
What the Keep app does with your data
Keep is designed so your financial data never leaves your device. Your transactions, accounts, balances, and categories are stored in a local database on your computer. We don't have a server that holds your financial information, and we can't access it remotely.
If you choose to use the optional AI features (coming after launch), some data will be sent to our AI provider to process your questions. When that happens, we'll tell you exactly what's being sent, why, and give you full control over whether to use it. AI features are entirely optional — Keep works completely without them.
If you choose to use bank sync (also coming after launch), your bank connection is handled through a regulated Open Banking provider. We'll provide full details of how that works before it's available.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. For the waitlist, that means your email address. If you want to unsubscribe, every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we'll remove you immediately.
For the Keep app itself, your data is already in your hands — literally on your device. You can export it, delete it, or move it whenever you like. We don't hold a copy, so there's nothing for us to delete on our side.
Third parties
We use a small number of services to run this website and business:
Buttondown stores your email address for the waitlist. Cloudflare hosts this website and provides security. Stripe will handle payments when Keep launches. None of these services have access to your financial data, because we don't have it either.
We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone for marketing or advertising purposes. Ever.
Children
Keep is designed for adults managing household finances. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll let you know by email (if you're on the waitlist) and update the date at the top. We won't quietly weaken your privacy protections.
